About the Author
I am Devyn Thomas, I am 10 years old. I was born and raised in Southern California. I love playing sports such as softball, soccer, basketball, and Ninja training (where you swing from bar to bar and climb things). My family is a sports family — my brothers play a lot of sports and my parents met while they both played college basketball. In addition to writing, I love playing piano and the ukulele. I loved traveling to Santa Cruz, California for spring break — that is what inspired the location. When I got a coloring book for my birthday, that is what inspired the story of The Coloring Book.
